It had to be done!

Just a quick hello, to say I have been revamping the old blog. When I started this blog, it was a place for my random thoughts and a record keeping of sorts of the family through out the days and years. Since I started the Etsy shop, I felt that the header didn't match where the blog is today. I love red and white and gray, so I started with those colors. I may change it seasonally like others do. The header I had up was the original and never changed for over three years. I thought it was time for a change.
It is a work in progress I think, so be prepared for the photo to change more often than three years!

The sheer laziness of the summer has taken such a tight grip on me, I haven't really had anything too exciting to share with you all. I am cutting out new items though, and perhaps there will be something new in the shop soon.
Is it me or is this time of year making everyone drag their heels a bit?!

  2. It's beautiful!...love the red....I'm feeling the summer slow down too. Thank goodness the days have been sunny and the cottage is not far from home...Elsie just got home from camp in Orillia! You need to plan a trip this way one of these days!

  5. Loving the new look. Summer here has been a bit of a washout with so much rain. Good excuse for doing nothing!

  7. I think that you should NEVER change this banner again - it is absolutely perfect. There is nothing else that could be done to improve it - the red of the thread is the perfect red - pierced by that shiny needle in just the right spot. The trimmings embody the flavor of your clothing line to a T. I love the white letters on a background that has light and shadow : PERFECT. Why would you EVER change it, Elizabeth? It is modern and classic at the same time, just like the clothing you make. I wouldn't touch it. Make it the symbol of your style. You have a great eye. Carolina
