Our anniversary celebration
Their garden across the street.
We had such a wonderful anniversary celebration yesterday at The French Laundry in Yountville. All the accolades are very well deserved for this fine restaurant!! We got to keep the cute little laundry pin and the waiter gave us copies of the menu to take home also. Wonderful wait staff, that could have been stuffy, but they were so wonderful and attentive. We had such a relaxing time and gorgeous food to eat.
Even though it was quite warm out yesterday, the sky was blue and it made everything in the wine country seem to sparkle.
A little shout out to CeCe and her husband, since their anniversary is the same day. Hope yours was wonderful guys!

Thank you Elizabeth! :)
ReplyDeleteYou were at Whole Foods?! I was so consumed about planning our anniversary dinner I was pretty oblivious to my surroundings. That is just too funny! I mean what are the chances, running into each other twice! Gosh, I looked pretty gross...now I am embarrassed. I still think it would be fun to meet for coffee sometime; perhaps later in the summer? I forget; where is Caitlin going to go to school?
ReplyDeletehappy anniversary - it looks like a beautiful celebration!

What a lovely place to celebrate your anniversary. Are you going to tell us what you chose to eat?
ReplyDeleteI should have mentioned that The French Laundry is the only restaurant on the west coast to receive three Michelin stars from the French rating system. They have a cool web site if you would like to visit it.
