Has anyone used this book yet?
I just bought this book the other day, and I got so excited to try and duplicate some of these very cute aprons. That is until I looked in the back at the patterns and realized that you have to copy them at 400%. Has anyone had luck doing this at a local Kinkos? Sure I could get my lazy self to our local Kinkos and see what they can do, but I thought I'd ask my fellow bloggers out there for their advice. Has anyone bought this book and made an apron from it? They are so darn cute, and I really want to try some of the great patterns in it.......So, help me out here and let me know if anyone has had luck enlarging patterns that huge.
Thanks in advance.

ReplyDeletethe cover looks promising !
(however I hate it when have to enlarge patterns -- e.g; Marie-Claire idées ! -- that's why I buy Japanese sewing book !!)
pls let me know how it goes !
Ooh, I like the looks of that book. I am terrible at the copier. Hope they are helpful at Kinkos. That apron is worth making for just that strip of ric rac alone :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun looking book. I saw it at Powell's the other day, and flipped through it. I have never been to a photocopy shop, but I hope it works out for you... do report back & share your results :o) pretty please. Have a super lovely weekend!!

Our company has used blueprint/architectural companies for some of our large copying needs. Especially if you call or go in and are your sweet self, they just might do it for next to nothing.
