I just finished this little dress today, hopefully it will be bought for an Easter dress. If not, it is adorable for any day! I can't say enough about how amazing it is to work with Liberty of London fabric. It kind of hurts me each time when I cut into it, but I know the end result will be a keepsake garment. This is the "Nancy Ann" print. Isn't it the perfect name for it? This little dress is simple in the front, to showcase the fabric itself, but when you turn it over......
the straps cross in the back and button at the waist, and I used Italian cotton organdy for ties, to make a beautiful crisp bow. I love cotton organdy also, it can be so ethereal.
I'm off now to work on a project for a customer that asked for a Christopher Robin looking shirt for their baby boy. I can't wait to start on it.
I also went fabric shopping last week, and found more pretty cotton garment weight fabrics. Lots of ideas.....Now I just have to get cutting!!!
Such a cute dress. Love the bow!
