I used really pretty natural shell buttons on the back....
and finished the inside with French seams. I think it is pretty cute.
Sorry about being MIA for a while, that is if anyone is even still reading this blog, but I have been enjoying the lovely weather, and trying to get stuff done around the house.
Hopefully I will have a bit more interesting things to share with my fellow bloggers. We have some up coming concerts that we will be going to starting next weekend, and the weekend after next. I will surprise you and post some photos of where we are going next week. Stay tuned :)
I've got some really cute projects that I'm going to start tomorrow that I'm excited about, it involves a vintage pattern from the 40's.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend, and I will try and be a better blogger, I promise!
I am still reading it even though I, too, have been MIA. It has been a crazy month, but I am up early and the plan is to get to writing a post TODAY. First up, the farmer's market. Locally, ours is tiny, but I can't get better arugula anywhere in the US, so I don't want to miss out. I think you need to give this concept of making clothing inspired by illustrations from children's books a very long look. In my mind, it is a WINNER. Your interpretation turned out fantastic. I don't think you could have done it any better. The French seams are an over the top detail that makes your clothing stand out upon further inspection. I enjoyed having my coffee early this morning and seeing that you had posted. I will do my best to reciprocate later in the day. Hugs to you.

I LOVE this baby boy's shirt. It's beautiful. You really should get your things into a boutique. They're just wonderful and the fabrics are perfect. Can't wait to see the clothes from vintage patterns.
