I'm actually using my new sewing table!

I'm working on a top that I cut out last summer! I meant to start on it back in March, and I even posted on it. It got derailed when I had to help Caitlin with all her sewing for her senior project, then her prom dress. That prom dress did me in for a bit, with a sore shoulder. I'm back at it again, and when it is done,I will post a picture. Hopefully by Monday you will see the finished top, unless it turned out hideous!
I bought some really cute patterns the other day that I'm excited about, and those projects will be on here too. Wish me luck on no more distractions, and finally completing this top. To see this project, go to my sewing link, or my March posts. It is the silk aqua top. See ya guys :)

  3. I'm looking forward to seeing the top you are making! Glad to hear you are enjoying your new space. Thank you as always for your kind comment! I suppose I should just leave my blog up. I guess I just never quite adjusted to having a blog. Despite blogging for over a year, I always felt "exposed." I'm quite private and a bit shy in person. :) Oh, and that dinner Caitlin made sounds so yummy!

Don't worry we all have unfinished projects !
can't wait to see it done !
I must say I LOVE-LOVE the chair, too ! so nice that you have a little sewing corner ! Since I've had my serger I've been using the kitchen table because I need both the serge + sewing machine next to each other and there's no room in the office for the two :(

  6. Oh, that sewing table looks so organised! I've been perching at the end of the dining table as I try to make friends with my sewing machine! Hope the top works out OK.
