I had all these supplies in my craft cabinet, so why not make a cute Easter egg.
I bought these adorable little millinery goodies about a year ago at the Alameda flea market, and at the time didn't know what I wanted to do with them. I looked through and old Martha Stewart magazine and came across a project for glittered eggs. I realized I had all the supplies, so why not give it a whirl?!
after a couple coats of acrylic paint.......
I glued on the Dresden gold trim.......
Then came the fun part...Glitter!! Why is glitter so magical?
Finished product......
Watch out Martha Stewart! Elizabeth, your egg is magical.

P.S. I don't think I ever thanked you for the sweet comment you made about Harleigh's pictures. I passed them onto her!
Hi Dawn,
ReplyDeleteI painted on a light layer of watered down craft glue, then just sprinkled it all over a couple of times to make sure it covered everything.
It just doesn't get better than being purple with glitter. I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a crafty and tasteful person Elizabeth, I am in awe!
