My little Easter craft

I had all these supplies in my craft cabinet, so why not make a cute Easter egg.
I bought these adorable little millinery goodies about a year ago at the Alameda flea market, and at the time didn't know what I wanted to do with them. I looked through and old Martha Stewart magazine and came across a project for glittered eggs. I realized I had all the supplies, so why not give it a whirl?!
after a couple coats of acrylic paint.......
I glued on the Dresden gold trim.......
Then came the fun part...Glitter!! Why is glitter so magical?
Finished product......

  6. Elizabeth, love the egg. How'd you get the glitter to stick so evenly?

P.S. I don't think I ever thanked you for the sweet comment you made about Harleigh's pictures. I passed them onto her!

  7. Hi Dawn,
I painted on a light layer of watered down craft glue, then just sprinkled it all over a couple of times to make sure it covered everything.
