This is Marios Schwab, a London based designer. My daughter just landed an internship with him! We are so thrilled for her and hope she learns a lot and enjoys her time. She and her husband moved to London this past May so that she could work in the fashion industry there. I can't wait to hear all the details! The following photos are a sampling of his work.
Wow!! Good for her! That's so incredibly exciting! :-D

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely thrilling! I wanted to get into fashion design when I was in high school. Didn't quite make it but still have a love of fashion.

I went to see different links to this designer - the guy can really drape and cut. Holy cow. I think the internship makes the move worth it. Oh to be young. Tell her I said congratulations and to channel "sponge" no matter how tired she gets, that way when she owns her own fashion house she will know every detail about the business. Congrats to you too, Elizabeth, I can only hope I do as well with my daughters as you have with yours. Carolina
ReplyDeleteWow! Thats fantastic! She obviously has some of her moms talent.

ReplyDeleteoh, I love this post. Well done to your daughter and well done to you for encouraging her to create! I only have a few years until my oldest is pushed out into the big wide world...hope to be able to post something like this one day!
