At last!

After slaving away...
The finished dress!

You have to twirl!

Well, after all the cutting, sewing, and measuring, it's finally done. It turned out rather nice didn't it? Friday is the big day of the presentation, and I will be bringing the dress before the class,so that she doesn't have to wear it all day, especially since the temperature tomorrow will be in the 100's. Yes, you read that right! At the moment that I'm typing this ,I'm dying from heat in the house, because the air conditioner needs to be fixed. Hopefully the guy can come tomorrow, or I think I will have to spend the day in a library or some other place with AC.
This is round one of the sewing, because we decided that I'm going to make her prom dress! Stay tuned......

  2. It is amazing! Your daughter is so pretty. I love dresses too. Not to sound weird but I think if I lived there, I would get along really well with her. We have very similar taste. She did an incredible job. I'm sure she is so proud. I will have to do a blog on all my dresses. haha.-Kitty

  6. Hi,
I discovered you through Jane @Posy. I look forward to checking out your blog further. Love the dress! It's so pretty, feminine and flattering...a lovely model too! I do wish young girls would rediscover this way of dressing.
On another note, I live in the Bay Area as well. I'm miserable in this weather, but at least we know it will pass soon. We are so fortunate to live here, don't you agree?
