If you go on their website, you will understand more of what they are all about. Even some of the tables were made from reclaimed wood. They are housed in the "greenest" building in the East Bay also.
Yummy cocktails......
Like I said, we are not vegetarians, but we do love our vegetables, so we ordered the vegan charcuterie.
Here is the cute little list they left at the table, for us to remember what we were eating.
For the main course we both ordered black cod. It sat on extremely wonderful veggies. The fish was cooked to perfection, and melted in your mouth!
For dessert I had zucchini cake.... They even put a little candied zucchini blossom on it.
David had the peach crisp, and we both had a cup of mint tea to wash it down.
We really enjoyed our mini date, and will go back here again!
Sewing up date: I started the blouse yesterday, and so far it is coming out well. Hopefully pictures will soon be available.
Have a very happy labor day weekend everyone!
Yummieee!!! I want some !!
ReplyDeleteDate nights are a must!
ReplyDeleteLooks like yours was very fun.
Looking forward to seeing the finished blouse.
Did you wear your new dress to dinner?
Have a great rest of the long weekend.
Melinda
Oh hello Gathering! I haven't had breakfast so not the best time to view your entry. It sounds and looks delicious. I love the presentation!
ReplyDeleteWe are off to Chicago for brunch and I'm tucking my "point and shoot" in my purse. However, when I take my new "professional looking" camera (slung casually around my neck) and a notebook, I expect stellar service since I could be a new restaurant reviewer in disguise.
Best,
Bonnie
Your date night looks and sounds DELISH!
