I bought two color stories of this fabric, because I thought it was so pretty and delicate, and I couldn't decide which color to get!
These are details of some bloomers I made the other day. I had a tiny piece of this fabric left in my stash, so they will be one of a kind. It also gave me an opportunity to play with the bloomer pattern. The ribbon on them is silk, not satin. The silk ribbon is so lovely to touch! click on the photos to see more detail.
I also completed this little linen skirt, that looks real cute with the kitty jacket and these bloomers.
Right now I have some dotted Swiss on the table for a little top. I really can't wait to cut into the floral fabric, because the little dresses are going to look super cute I think.
The pieces shown are all 6 mo. I will be doing the dresses in toddler sizes though, so there will be more size ranges, not just tiny ones. When my daughters were little, I loved making the super tiny sizes, even though I knew they would out grow them quickly. The funny part was that both of my girls were such slim, small babies, that they did get to wear the cute stuff for a while.
I hope that the clothes that I make will be more heirloom quality because of the fabrics and details that I plan to put in them.
Stay tuned
love love love !!!!!!!
