This sweet little child is Olive. Her mom is Andrea of
"Flannery O'Kafka." I found Andrea when she did a guest post on the Babiekins blog. The post is
here, and it is the seventh one down. Her super cute son and daughter are both pictured in it. I loved her style the minute I saw those pictures, and I just had to contact her. She left me a convo on Etsy, and asked to do a collaboration. So...
I made this little outfit for miss Olive, and her mom took the above picture. I chose this one to
be in my very first ad, in the
Babiekins on line children's magazine. It will be in their upcoming
Holiday issue. It was a lot of fun to work with Andrea, and I loved how the photos came out.
Go and check out her blog, because she has such a great eye, and her photos are amazing!
Oh my goodness, Elizabeth. You captured the essence of childhood and what all mothers want it to be for their children. The "Little Golden Books" shirt fabric is absolutely the right fabric to embody my childhood memories. This little girl, and her mom, are not only going to love the outfit, they will keep it forever because it is the kind of thing you would want to pass down - a true heirloom. A perfect collaboration - two creative women, one adorable child, and a totally scrumptious outfit. Memory making magic. Carolina
