Napa "Tour de Cure" 2013

 Finishing his 25 mile ride

Love how this guy is on his cell phone, I can't believe he still had the energy to do this after the ride!

The team captain in the center raised over $10,000!

This was only part of the team, it was quite a group
The Tour de Cure in Napa valley was last week end, and I was there to cheer David on. He was such a speedy rider though, that I just missed him as he went through the finish line. It was a nice cool breezy day, perfect for a bike ride, and this great event. I must say I was very impressed with how this event was put together. Not only was it well organized, the food that was served at the event was really good, and very healthful. Often times when you feed that huge of a crowd, the quality lacks, but they found a great caterer. It really represented the cause for healthy living and eating.  It was a very pleasant experience. The speaker the night before said that it was the biggest bike marathon for the ADA in the whole United States!  David was proud to be a part of it, and I was proud of him for raising all the money that he did for this very serious illness.  If you would like to donate to this cause please visit this web page.
