A Little Before and After
Hi there! I'm still recovering from Thanksgiving, and I feel like I'm not quite ready to let go of golden November days with pumpkin flavored everything. I see everyone in blog land and Instagram racing to get their Christmas decor up, and I still have pumpkins on my fireplace hearth and a fall table look still. This weekend we will be getting our tree though and transform the house into Christmas. Good bye lovely fall, until we meet again.
A while back I mentioned that we were working on Caitlin's old room to turn it into a guest room, and that I would show you some before and afters. It has taken a while, and it still is a work in progress, because I want to make it a bit warmer in feeling. The wall that is facing the bed is naked, and I'm not quite sure what I want to do with it yet. Here are some shots of it now though. I also bought two prints from my favorite artist Elsa Mora. I love her work so much! If you go to her website you can get lost in all her wonderful art. What I love about her is her ability to work in so many mediums and produce such magical work.
My own shop news is that I'm going to try and sneak in some items before things get crazy busy here. My most recent items, after the velveteen garments are some Liberty hair bows. So check back for a post on those. I'm hoping to get those in for possible stocking stuffers.
On that note, I better get cracking, so until next time..............
